Brett Fulford - Safety Engineer / Consultant:

A former engineer, negotiator and executive in the public sector of defense industry, Brett Fulford is regarded as an authority in the deployment and logistics of securing U.S. assets. Brett Fulford has served on investigative committees and was the Empowered Official responsible for compliance of International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR), under the Federal Government - Department of State, for a U.S.- based Fortune 100 company.

After leaving this sector, Brett Fulford began an initiative to view safety in a new way; a way that all people have to deal with and adjust to everyday on a personal level. This new way offers counter-measures (response) and proactive measures (prevention). The results provide protection of our most valuable assets: ourselves, our families and our friends. Safety solutions results in security!

Brett Fulford has worked with police crime prevention organizations and other safety organizations in providing them with intelligence and solutions known only by a few but widely known in criminal circles. Along the way, safety is understood in a whole new light. It involves cognitive and manipulative solutions, and conditioned responses. These simple yet effective solutions have been featured on TV news, national radio, national trade magazine and major newspapers, as well as shows such as HGTV.

When you think about burglaries and other home invasion type of crimes you start to come up with any number of related issues to be concerned about such as: Where is the best place to hide my valuables? What's the best room in the house to hide in? Who should I call first, a neighbor or the police?

All of these are valid concerns but there is one that is more important than all the rest...

What can I do to keep the bad guy from getting me in the first place?

This is where your focus should be. None of the other issues will matter if you answer the first question correctly.

Total Solutions, Plus

The importance of home security is never questioned by anyone. Keeping ourselves, our families and loved ones, safe will always be important. There are many companies and products that offer solutions. Products such as home security camera's and other home security devices all have there place. So it can be said that many forms of home security equipment have their role. As with most things, many security products also have their limitations. For example, a burglar alarm only works when the door is opened. Is it not better that the door never opens to begin with?

We are always working on two things at Lock Jaw Security. One is education. We believe in the following guiding principles: 1) meet new people and listen; 2) always maintain your values; 3) think of others first; 4) take care of the small things and big things will happen; 5) last, "work hard, have fun and help people" (per my mentor, Topper Long, retired CEO of Textron, IPS). The other thing that we are always working on is the next generation and complimentary products for the do-it-yourselfer! However, we are humble enough to realize the spirit and benefit of cooperation. This is especially true when the personal guiding principles are complementary.

The insight and collaboration that we have enjoyed with Bob Stuber (www.onguard365.com) has been one of great assistance. Bob is a real guy with real life, and vast, experience. He's an ex-cop and has served in various capacities with major media networks in providing real, tangible and common sense safety solutions. We appreciate Bob's belief in Lock Jaw Security and The Lock Jaw™. In fact, a deadbolt without The Lock Jaw™ only serves part of its intended purpose, and this device completes what all deadbolt locks should be.
